Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Clooney!!!

I must admit, I am a little upset that I was not invited to the nuptials but I guess these gorgeous images of the happy couple should suffice! Here, Amal is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana dress, my personal fav!

People.com put this fun info graphic about the couple and their international romance!

The festivities started with a parade of stars being shuttled down the Grand Canal in Venice! How fabulous is this! Celebs that were reported to have attended were Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, and Bono! Here’s the pic before the ceremony… Clooney looking AMAZING!

So you know all of the official wedding images will not be released by any outlet EXCEPT Vogue! Anna Wintour attended the wedding and has the exclusive!!!

Here’s the first pictures of the glowing pair the day after the wedding. Amal simply glowed in a gorgeous long sleeved lace Giambattista Valli dress!

A Modern Vintage Styled Shoot

Antiques, exposed brick and raw, natural beauty were the inspiration for my Modern Vintage Shoot. Lace dresses and fluffy tulle skirts were the perfect pairing and gowns came pouring in from Kleinfeld Bridal, Concord Wedding Center, Matthew Christopher and Kimberly Pixton Couture.

The City Club, a local venue here in Concord, NC was the first stop in our photo shoot. The approximate capacity is around 600-1000 and this venue is simply beautiful. I am a huge fan of exposed brick, and this venue was simply stunning.

Items shown in the City Club Images are as follows:
-Allure Bridals “9051
(This dress can be found locally at Concord Wedding Center)
-Tuxedo from Jim’s Formal Wear at Concord Wedding Center
-Bouquet by Linda Gibson
-Lighted backdrop by Concord Wedding Center
-Jewelry borrowed from Pixton Couture
Pnina Tornai “32933053” (Can be found only at Kleinfeld Bridal)
Pixton Couture “Cymbeline”
-Cake by Sweet Boutique Bakery
Claire Pettibone “Alchemy” (Gown provided by Kleinfeld Bridal)
Pixton Couture “Demoiselle”
-Table Design by Linda Gibson
-Design & Decor by Concord Wedding Center
Matthew Christopher “Juliet”

The next location we shot at was an old warehouse. It’s chippy paint and exposed brick were a charming touch that was so perfectly contrasted with the gowns.

Items shown in the Warehouse Images are as follows:
Pixton Couture “Marianne”
Pixton Couture “Demoiselle”
-Jewelry provided by Pixton Couture

The Depot is a “pickers paradise” when it comes to all things antique, old, and shabby chic- a perfect setting for my shoot. I found a diamond in the rough when deciding to set one of the locations at The Depot at Gibson Mill.

Items shown in the Depot at Gibson Mill Images are as follows:
Maggie Sottero “Sonata” (Gown courtesy of Kleinfeld Bridal)
Pixton Couture “Ballantyne”
Amanda Wakeley “Cleopatra” (Gown Courtesy of Kleinfeld Bridal)
-Cake by Sweet Boutique Bakery

Thank You

Pixton Couture “Inspires” a Jane Austen Collection! (FULL COLLECTION!)

Kimberly Pixton is a very close friend of mine who just happens to be an awesome bridal fashion designer! She has a background in fashion, cheerleading and is launching her line in the bridal market. Kim has such an amazing vision, and I can’t help but fall in love with her gowns. Her editorial piece, Elinor, got some attention at bridal market, sparking an enthusiasm for texture in gowns. You might see the gowns in a magazine stand near you! Check out some recent editorial work in Charlotte Wedding’s, “Come Fly With Me” Shoot. Each gown has a unique element, and you can expect nothing but amazing quality with her one of a kind pieces. The line features a textured brocade gown, lovely shades of blush and a tutu skirt that would make any bride happy! Check out her amazing collection inspired by Jane Austen!
